I write game recaps in poetry for Brotherly Game (Philadelphia Union SB Nation blog). After the USMNT win over Mexico, I felt I needed to memorialize it in some way. While not technically an "ode", I meant this in the more "tribute" sense of the word. A sonnet for my men in Red White & Blue.
