Borussia Dortmund are currently in the midst of their winter break schedule. Before their trip to Dubai to train and play an exhibition match, United States youth international, Christian Pulisic, was promoted to the the first team. He's been training with the senior team at just 17 years of age.
The Bundesliga side played a friendly against Frankfurt in Dubai today and won, 4-0. The young Pulisic got a chance to play alongside the likes of Shinji Kagawa, Neven Subotic, and Adrian Ramos. Not only did the U.S. U-20 midfielder get to play but he was impressive while doing so. He recorded an assist in the 84th minute after collecting a goalkeeper mistake and finding Kagawa in front of goal for a tap-in.

A little later in the match, he could've had another assist on a beautiful entry pass but the play was called back for offside.

An impressive showing for the exciting young talent and one that could impress Dortmund boss, Thomas Tuchel, as the club enters the second half of the Bundesliga season. Only time will tell if Pulisic will get a chance to play in competitive matches this season for the first team, but performances like this one can't hurt his cause.
