Three points. The United States needs three points tonight and nothing less.
Forget the loss to Jamaica or any other set back. Forget any injuries or uninspiring play. Forget the field or the rain. Forget anything and everything else except this -- three points.
The U.S. is the better team. The World Cup is on the line and they sure as hell are going to Brazil. The journey started in June with a 3-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda in the rain, without a left back and it will continue tonight, in the rain without a left back. Three points are coming.
Clear eyes, full hearts.
