Jurgen Klinsmann said that he would play his best team against Costa Rica, but his lineup indicates something different. Alejandro Bedoya gets his first start of the tournament, displacing Joe Corona, and Sean Johnson gets a start over Nick Rimando. Whether he was attempting to deceive the Ticos or made a last minute change is anyone's guess. The rest of the lineup is strong, though arguably not first choice.
The Costa Rica team is TBA, but here's the US lineup.
#usmnt lineup v Costa Rica: Johnson; Parkhurst, Goodson, Orozco Fiscal, Beasley; Bedoya, Holden, Diskerud, Torres; Donovan, Wondolowski
