Happy America day, America! The United States is taking on Guatemala in San Diego to warm up for the Gold Cup. Landon Donovan has returned in a lineup that looks like the team's normal 4-2-3-1. He's listed as the central attacking midfielder, but murmurs on the internet are that he'll play wide, while Joe Corona operates in the middle.

No, I do not understand Jurgen Klinsmann's obsession with playing left backs at left midfield, ahead of a left midfielder who is masquerading as a left back. I do not like it one bit, and it is the only remaining Klinsmann tick that I dislike. He's done all of these awesome things, but he persists with this nonsense. WHY WON'T YOU LET ME LOVE YOU?
Kickoff is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET, 8 p.m. local, but they'll draw it out for a bit because apparently us east coasters deserve punishment. You can catch it on NBC Sports Network. This is your thread for the game, so chat away.
