Happy America day, America land! Tonight, the United States take on Belize in their first Gold Cup group stage game from Jeld-Wen Field in Portland. While Belize did very well to get here, drawing Guatemala and beating Nicaragua, they're a team filled with amateurs (unlike Martinique, who have a lot of pros), and they're probably going to struggle quite a bit with the United States.
Even though this is a B-team Gold Cup and just the first match of the tournament, I'll probably start supporting Canada if we don't win by multiple goals. Here's the U.S. lineup.
#USMNT starting lineup: Rimando; Parkhurst, Orozco-Fiscal, Goodson, Beasley ©; Beckerman; Corona, Diskerud, Torres; Donovan, Wondolowski

Unsurprisingly, Oguchi Onyewu doesn't play on turf. I'm not sure what this formation is. It's listed as 4-4-2, but Jose Torres as a winger in a 4-4-2 is weird, and I would argue bad. I hope that's not what's happening. I like Wondo getting a look after his goal against Guatemala.
Kickoff is at 11 pm ET, 8 pm local time. You can catch the game on FOX Soccer or UniMas. This is your open thread, so chat away.
