USA vs. Panama match predictions: Three points to the USMNT

Bank on an American win in Seattle.

Streeter Lecka

The United States got a win in Jamaica and a draw in Mexico so Seattle should be a piece of cake. They will have 40,000 people there in red, white and blue, plus they're playing a Blas Perez-less Panama. Sounds like a recipe for success.

Ryan: The U.S. isn't better than most CONCACAF teams at the top of their roster. While Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey are good, they're not blowing the best players on several other teams out of the roster. Where the U.S. does have an advantage is in depth, which allows them to deal with injuries and suspensions far better than any other team, except for Mexico. So Jermaine Jones, Graham Zusi and several others are out, the U.S. can deal with it. Panama can't deal with Blas Perez being sidelined, and that's why the Americans will come away with a 2-0 win.

Kevin: Jermaine Jones and Graham Zusi's absences scare me. Blas Perez's absence should scare Panama more. He's absolutely terrorized the United States whenever the two teams have met and as solid as Luis Tejada is, I'm confident that the United States defense can get the job done without Perez in the lineup. We'll struggle to create chances, but do just enough. 1-0 USMNT.
