FOX announces USMNT to play friendlies vs. Australia, Ghana

US Soccer probably isn't too thrilled that this leaked out.

During the most recent Fox Sports broadcast of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, they began discussing the upcoming USMNT friendlies that their networks would be showing on Fox Sports 1. Then, they flashed this graphic on the screen.

The friendlies on the schedule against Australia and Ghana haven't been announced yet by US Soccer, but we all know that the federation's policy on announcing friendlies is that they don't make them public until the contracts have been signed.

The Australia friendly on July 3 would be just four days before the start of the 2015 Gold Cup and will be Jurgen Klinsmann last opportunity to get his team prepared for the confederation championship.

The friendly against Ghana would be a rematch from the World Cup when John Brooks happened. US Soccer has already been working on another friendly against Brazil for September, reportedly.

2015 is shaping up to be quite the intense year. The federation is stacking the calendar with quality friendly opponents sandwiching the Gold Cup. The hope is that the team can use this year to springboard into 2016 and the Copa America Cetenario.
