USA vs. Mexico, CONCACAF Cup 2015: Lineups and match thread

The day has finally arrived. It's the USA vs. Mexico and it's for a berth in the 2017 Confederations Cup. So much preparation and hype has been leading up to this one game. We're finally going to kick this thing off and see who will be crowned king of CONCACAF for the next four years.

Around 90,000 fans will pack the Rose Bowl tonight for one of the most memorable editions of this bitter rivalry. Temperatues will be sultry and tempers will most likely follow suit.

Jurgen Klinsmann has named a pretty predictable lineup for this game. Opting to go with experience pretty much at every position. Gyasi Zardes is the only player on the field who one might consider inexperienced in this type of occasion.

The USMNT veteran DaMarcus Beasley is called on once again the man the left back spot, while Fabian Johnson, Matt Besler, and Geoff Cameron make up the rest of the American back line.

United States: Guzan; Johnson, Cameron, Besler, Beasley; Jones, Beckerman, Bradley, Zardes; Dempsey, Altidore

Mexico: Munoz; Layun, Reyes, Marquez, Moreno, Aguilar; Jimenez, Guardado, Herrera; Chicharito, Peralta

The match kicks off at 9:30 p.m. ET and can be seen live on FS1 and Univision.
