USA vs. Canada, 2016 Olympics qualifying: How to watch, lineups, and match thread

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

After a truly disappointing loss to Honduras in the semifinals, the United States under-23 team head to the third-place game tonight to take on Canada to keep their Olympic hopes alive. With a win in the third-place match, the U.S. would advance to a playoff with Colombia for a spot in the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

A tournament that started with much promise will likely be remembered most for the semifinal failure. While the U.S. aren't hopeless in their bid to reach the Olympics, that loss really hurt. Facing a quality soccer nation like Colombia in a must-win playoff is not an appealing proposition for Olympic qualification. The U.S. must makes sure to take care of business tonight to have any hope whatsoever.
