Fabian Johnson is the USA's best player and this Champions League goal proves it

He's also the only American left in Champions League

Let's all thank the old gods -- and the new -- that Fabian Johnson and Jurgen Klinsmann have kissed and made up. After all, Johnson is the only United States player currently competing in the Champions League. And he's not just competing, mind you, he's scoring goals like this.

That's not necessarily the most difficult goal, but the way Johnson curls it inside the far post sure is pretty. Let's hope he has more of that in him.

Johnson's goal was Borussia Mönchengladbach's second of the game and they went on to beat Sevilla 4-2 to move into third place of their group, a position that would send them to Europa League.
