Who: #1 United States vs. #15 China PR
When: Wednesday, December 16, 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET
Where: Superdome, New Orleans
How to watch: This game is being broadcast on Fox Sports 1 and streamed on Fox Sports Go.
Last meeting: The United States beat China 2-0 this past weekend at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
Players to watch: Obviously this is Abby Wambach's last international game ever. She hasn't been up for more than 10 or 15 minutes in the last few games, so Jill Ellis may start her for as long as she can run and then sub her off to the crowd, or she might leave Wambach as a late sub so that she ends her career on the field.
Other than that, this could finally be the game where Ellis gives Danielle Colaprico some minutes after talking her up as someone she'd like to see in camp. Ellis also seems very keen on seeing how relative newcomers Lindsey Horan, Stephanie McCaffrey, and Jaelene Hinkle fit into her lineup, so they could all receive substantial minutes. Horan especially needs to prove she can consistently handle stiffer opposition in midfield.
