FC Kansas City's Sydney Leroux just announced her pregnancy on twitter.

Her husband, Sporting Kansas City's Dom Dwyer, also tweeted about the pregnancy.
Couldn't be happier to share this with the world. Coming soon..... ⚽️ #LittleDwyer https://t.co/LiRAjkM2nt

With a due date in September, Leroux is out for the 2016 Olympics, which take place in August. She and teammate Amy Rodriguez, also a forward at FC Kansas City, will have their children within months of each other.
Leroux was already considered a bubble player for the USWNT's Olympic roster and now it seems as though she won't be involved with Olympic qualifying in Texas.
This also brings up the question of what FC Kansas City will do with two of their most prominent strikers out for most, if not all, of the season. Leroux was traded to FCKC from the Western New York Flash in the offseason.
But on a personal note, congratulations to Leroux and Dwyer, whose child will be eligible to play for the United States, England, or Canada should their genes combine to create the soccer overlord of our future.
