The governing body of the world's most popular sport is finally ready to elect a new leader. Details have finally been released for FIFA's presidential election to be held next month. They released this letter detailing the event and protocols in electing a new president:

The final list of five candidates for the next president of FIFA is:
Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein (Jordan)
Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa (Bahrain)
Jerome Champagne (France)
Gianni Infantino (Italy/Switzerland)
Tokyo Sexwale (South Africa)

The election will take place on February 26 in Zurich, Switzerland. Each of the 209 voting nations will each have an equal vote in the process. The vote will be a secret ballot in compliance with FIFA law.
Infantino, UEFA's current general secretary, is considered the favorite by many as he has already received the backing from UEFA and a block of Central American nations.
