USA vs. New Zealand, 2016 Friendly: Community Player Ratings

The United States men’s national team were held to a 1-1 draw by New Zealand on Tuesday night at RFK Stadium. In their final warm-up test before the vital World Cup qualifiers in the Hex begin, the U.S. had a uninspired performance by a makeshift lineup of players looking to make their mark.

Julian Green scored for the second match running, but a late Kiwis goal canceled that out as the two teams were pretty even on the night. Some new faces made their way onto the field as Lynden Gooch earned his USMNT debut. While some old ones, such as Juan Agudelo and Terrence Boyd, returned after long absences.
