It may be time to purchase that Julian Green kit. Coming off the heels of two very good performances for the USMNT, Green is set to finally earn some playing time for Bayern Munich according to his manager.

Carlo Ancelotti revealed in his pre-match press conference on Friday that the U.S. international will see the field for the club very soon.

"Green is in the squad and he will get his chance to play in the next few games," Ancelotti said. "He's a good player and works with total concentration in training every day.

"I haven't spoken to [U.S. coach] Jurgen Klinsmann, but I can imagine he's very pleased with him. His best position is centre-forward."

It’s been a long journey for Green at his childhood club. After emerging onto the scene a few years ago thanks to Jurgen Klinsmann fast-tracking him to the USMNT, the 21-year-old has hit some hard times over the past few years. Rumors of him leaving Bayern have been consistent, but the youngster is focused on breaking through.

The defending Bundesliga champions travel to Eintracht Frankfurt this weekend before taking on PSV in the Champions League at midweek, then they host Borussia Monchengladbach in the league. Despite being in the matchday squad numerous times and playing in a Champions League match last season, Green has never played in a Bundesliga match for the club. Hopefully he can make his debut soon and continue his great run of form.
