Jurgen Klinsmann has made significant changes to the USMNT’s roster for the upcoming friendly against New Zealand at RFK Stadium on Tuesday night.
Many of the European-based players have departed camp to return to their club teams. Several players are getting a chance for the first time in a while such as Juan Agudelo, Bill Hamid, William Yarbrough, and most notably Terrence Boyd who makes his national team return after several years away injured.
It should be a very interesting lineup come Tuesday night. Here’s the full roster Klinsmann is bringing to D.C.:
U.S. ROSTER
Goalkeepers: David Bingham (San Jose Earthquakes), Bill Hamid (D.C. United), William Yarbrough (Leon).
Defenders: Kellyn Acosta (FC Dallas), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Steve Birnbaum (D.C. United), Omar Gonzalez (Pachuca), Michael Orozco (Tijuana), Tim Parker (Vancouver Whitecaps), DeAndre Yedlin (Newcastle).
Midfielders: Paul Arriola (Tijuana), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Lynden Gooch (Sunderland), Perry Kitchen (Hearts), Sacha Kljestan (New York Red Bulls), Danny Williams (Reading).
