USA vs. Mexico, 2018 World Cup qualifying: Confirmed lineups and match thread

In just about an hour’s time, the United States men’s national team will begin their 10-match Hexagonal schedule against their most bitter rivals, Mexico. It’s the match everyone has been talking about since the schedule for the final round of World Cup qualifying was set and it’s here.

Two of the three powers in CONCACAF face off to determine which side will get off to the right start and which will be playing catch-up.

Tonight’s match will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 and Univision and will kickoff sometime after 7:45 p.m. Eastern Time. As per usual, U.S. Soccer has advertised the TV time and not the actual kickoff time. We’re expecting the match to begin around 8:00 p.m..
