After a completely awful first half by the United States that saw them trail Mexico 1-0 at halftime, Bobby Wood has leveled the score just five minutes into the second half thanks to some brilliant teamwork from himself and Jozy Altidore.
.@32flags Good Wood. But seriously, nice work gaining enough control to get the shot off. #USAvMEX #USMNT pic.twitter.com/ZSGGlrrKoK

The play was made by Jozy who bumrushed through several Mexico defenders to play a pass into the path of Wood who beat his marker and finished past the goalkeeper low and hard to even the score and give the U.S. a much-needed boost of confidence.
It was an extremely frustrating half for the Americans, but they’re right back into the match after scoring very early on. There’s all to play for now. Which team will strike the next blow and put themselves in position for three points?
