As reported by Bild, Bayern Munich attacker Julian Green has been struggling with muscle injuries.
The 21-year-old Florida native tweeted out some motivational words:

According to the Bild Bayern Twitter account, Green will be out at least four weeks. The Bundesliga's winter break (winterpause) will give him a chance to work his way back into the squad.

Bayern Munich is currently dealing with a bit of an injury crisis, with Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben, Kingsley Coman, Arturo Vidal, and Jerome Boateng all missing time.
Green's contract with the German power ends next summer. He's made two cup appearances this season, scoring one goal. He's yet to break through in the Bundesliga, but has been a frequent presence in the match day squad.
On the international front, if the injury timeline is correct, this should not affect his chances of being called up by Bruce Arena when the World Cup qualifying campaign resumes in March.
