Earlier this week, a report out of England surfaced saying that Liverpool would increase their efforts to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic this winter after Philippe Coutinho suffered a long term injury.
Today, Dortmund’s sporting manager Michael Zorc came out today and bluntly addressed the rumors linking the 18-year-old with a move to Anfield.
In no uncertain terms, Zorc made it clear that Pulisic is not for sale to Liverpool or any other club at this time.

It’s clear that Pulisic is held in very high regard at the Bundesliga powerhouse. They are bringing him along at their own pace and apparently have big long term plans for him.
Liverpool reportedly had a bid for the USMNT youngster rejected during the summer transfer window and were planning and increased offer for him in January. However, after these comments, it doesn’t look like a move will be happening any time soon. That is unless an amazing offer does come along. Money always talks in the transfer game.
