Bob Bradley’s Premier League adventure hasn’t gotten off the great start we all hoped for. With only one win and five total points in his first seven matches, there’s already talk that his job is up for discussion at the club.
The Telegraph is reporting that Swansea are launching a “wide-ranging review” of the club and their efforts to remain in the English top flight.
The poor run of form has the Swans sitting at the very bottom of the league table through a third of the season. In the seven matches that Bradley has been in charge, the club have conceded a total of 19 goals including a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Bradley’s only win at the club so far came in the fashion of a 5-4 come from behind victory with two stoppage time goals.
The Premier League is one of the most cutthroat leagues in the world where it’s basically win at all costs or else. While Bradley losing his job so early on in his tenure seems very rash, when relegation is a real possibility, anything is possible. Hopefully the results start to turn around and this type of talk dissipates.
