Tab Ramos names U-20 roster for Dallas Cup

The U-20 roster for the Dallas Cup was announced via a U.S. Soccer press release. The squad, led by Tab Ramos, is in Group A of the Gordon Jago Super Group along with CF Monterrey (Mexico), Fulham (England), and Hoffenheim (Germany).

The roster features 11 college players, four MLS senior team players, three Development Academy players, and four players plying their trade abroad. The group final will be played on March 27th at 6:00 p.m. at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

The United States had its best Dallas Cup finish in 2014, losing in the championship to the River Plate (Argentina) U-20s. The Dallas Cup -- created in 1980 -- is considered to be one of the most prestigious youth soccer tournaments in the world and in the past has featured top players such as David Beckham, Ross Barkley, DaMarcus Beasley, Clint Dempsey, Rafa Marquez, Maicon, Raul, and Wayne Rooney.
