One Pulisic wasn't enough for the Bundesliga side

Borussia Dortmund are apparently so impressed with Christian Pulisic that they've decided his talent must be in the genes. Will Pulisic, Christian's cousin and former U-17 World Cup teammate, a goalkeeper, has announced that he'll be joining the second-place Bundesliga team for the 2016-17 season.

Like Christian, Will was a starter for the USA U-17 team that went three-and-out at the 2015 U-17 World Cup this past fall. Despite not winning a game, Pulisic impressed as the team's goalkeeper making plenty of eye-catching saves.

It's not entirely clear how Will would be affiliated with Dortmund at this point. The declaration that he's only joining the club for a year is a weird one. Perhaps it's a short-term deal so the club can get a look at him, or it could be mutual in case the youngster wants to head to college if the year doesn't go well. He was committed to Duke University, but has obviously changed his mind with this decision.

It's always good to see a U.S. youth player join a prestigious club like Dortmund who know how to develop talent. Here's to hoping Will's time at the club will be as fruitful as Christian's has been.
