Guatemala vs. USA, World Cup qualifying: Man of the Match

As part of a new feature here at Stars and Stripes FC, we thought it'd be great to get your opinions on USMNT player ratings. Rating performances of players is such a subjective practice, the only fair way to assemble accurate player ratings is to have a vote.

What a match to try and implement this experimental idea with. A dismal performance by the United States with no visible or clear outstanding performances to speak of. We gave you a ballot last night and now after many, many returns, we have the results:

Man of the Match - Darlington Nagbe

According to the poll results, you voted second half substitute Darlington Nagbe as the best performer on the night for the USMNT. He finished with an average rating of 5.4 on the night. Ironically it was Mix Diskerud, who he replaced at halftime, who was voted our worst performer with 2.4 average.
