Carli Lloyd came out early in the game as the Houston Dash took on the Orlando Pride tonight.
Lloyd went down in the 4' after moving to deflect a ball by a Pride defender. The ball bounced off her leg and Lloyd went down immediately. It looks as though the injury came from her contact with the ball and not an awkward landing on the turf.

Lloyd will undergo an MRI on her knee, as tweeted by Lloyd's personal coach James Galanis.
News is that there is no news. Hoping for nothing serious, but won't know until MRI.

Houston attempted to play with 10 until it became apparent that Lloyd could not continue. Kealia Ohai subbed into the game for Lloyd; the Dash ultimately lost to the Pride 3-1.
No news yet on the results of the MRI; we'll keep this post updated as the club releases information.
UPDATE: Lloyd tweeted the following message after the game.
Thank you all for the support. This won't stop me. Will get an MRI and go from there. I will be okay.
