Hope Solo was in Washington D.C. tonight for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, as well as a panel hosted by The Atlantic on women, fairness, and power.
Solo joined female politicians, actresses, and journalists to comment on the USWNT"s ongoing wage dispute with US Soccer.

Solo then went to the White House Correspondents' Dinner, also known as "Nerd Prom," where Comedy Central talk show host Larry Wilmore delivered comments following President Barack Obama's final WHCD speech.

Solo's club team the Seattle Reign do play at home tomorrow against FC Kansas City, but taking the WNT's wage fight to Washington D.C. seems like a decent reason to miss a game.
