The United States under-17 men's national team is heading to Goa, India to play in the AIFF Youth Cup.
John Hackworth is leading a 23-player roster that will take on Tanzania (May 15th), India (May 19th), South Korea (May 21st), and Malaysia (May 23rd). The third place and championship matches take place on May 25th.
Previously in 2016, the U-17s won the Mondial Football de Montaigu Tournament and finished second at the Aegean Cup.
The AIFF Youth Cup is serving as preparation for teams and organizers in the run up to the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup being hosted by India.
The roster is comprised of domestically-based players and features twelve from Major League Soccer academies.
