Last weekend we experimented with an open thread to let you guys ask questions, discuss on-going matches, and just have a place to chat if you felt the need. We were pleased the result and have decided to keep it going for as long as you guys keep utilizing it.
This weekend sees the conclusion to most of the big European leagues. The Premier League races are almost all decided already with Leicester City shocking the world to win the title. Bayern Munich and Juventus have repeated as champions. Barcelona and Real Madrid have one more round to decide who'll be kings of La Liga with the Blaugrana heavy favorites, just needing to win.
We're just over a week away before the United States men's national team kick off their pre-Copa America schedule with a friendly against Puerto Rico. Camp will begin convening in Miami on Monday with a roster of Europe and Mexico-based players. Those players will play against Puerto Rico before the MLS contingent start filing in afterwards.
A complication could arise this weekend if Eintracht Frankfurt are forced into the Bundesliga promotion/relegation playoff. Timmy Chandler would likely be forced to miss a week's worth of training camp and the Puerto Rico friendly to help his side stay in the first-division of Germany. Other than him, there shouldn't be any more conflicts.
Head to the comments and give us feedback, ask questions about the USMNT or USWNT, or just talk among yourselves. Our panel of non experts are online to answer all your questions.
