USA U-17s beat India 4-0 at AIFF Youth Cup

The United States under-17 men's national team picked up their first win of the AlFF Youth Cup, shutting out hosts India, 4-0, at the Tilak Maidan in Goa.

Will Sands opened the scoring in the 28th minute, finished a centering pass from Andrew Carleton.

Sands doubled the lead in the 39th minute, scoring off another cross from Carleton.

Chandler Vaughn scored the United States' third goal of the half, finishing Kevin Negrete's rebound.

Negrete scored the insurance goal in the 56th minute, slotting home Arturo Vasquez's cross.

The U-17s are in second place at the AIFF with four points from two matches, after opening the tournament with a 1-1 tie against Tanzania. They play South Korea on May 21st.
