United States youth international and Arsenal loanee, Gedion Zelalem, started for Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday. The famous club fell 3-2 thanks to a late Hibernian goal in stoppage time.

By all accounts Zelalem had a great match and was one of Rangers best players during his 63 minutes on the field. Fans of the club were vocal about their displeasure over seeing him taken off the field in the big match.

After the high-intensity match, supporters of Hibs stormed the field to celebrate with their team. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion soon turned violent as the supporters clashed with Rangers players and staff. As many as six players and a coach came away from the skirmishes with injuries according to the Scottish Sun.

There's no word yet on which players were involved or injured in the melee.
