Despite not making the final United States 23-man roster for the Copa America Centenario, Omar Gonzalez is on top of the world after helping Pachuca win the Liga MX Clasura in his first ever season in Mexico. The former LA Galaxy man moved to Mexico's top flight in January and has lifted his first cup with his new club just four months later. He becomes just the second American ever to win MLS Cup and a Liga MX title.
To celebrate this feat, Omar did what Omar does. He found a camera and acted a fool.

The Dallas native has had a dream debut season in Liga MX. It's a mystery to everyone but Jurgen Klinsmann why he wasn't named to the Copa America roster. This major accomplishment will have to act as a consolation prize, even though I'm sure he won't see it that way. It's always great to see an American challenge himself in a difficult league and succeed. That's what Klinsmann has preached to his players for the last four years. When one finally does that, he rewards him by snubbing him from a major tournament.
