Alejandro Bedoya has been in the news a lot lately. A few times for some not so great social media interactions, but mainly for his club future. Sports Illustrated reported last week that Bedoya could be looking to leave FC Nantes this summer for another European team or in January for MLS.
In what could possibly be his last home match for Nantes on Saturday, he scored his fifth goal in all competitions with this finish in the box off of a broken play:
After the match, the designated American of the squad led the home fans in the chant that U.S. Soccer (probably) made famous to the point of exhaustion, "I Believe".
It's pretty cool to see an American in a foreign land becoming a team leader in a very respectable league. With this being the last home match of the season, Bedoya was able to take his son onto the field to commemorate it with this adorable pic:
Not sure he'll remember this, but I sure will. Taking him on the pitch in front of amazing fans! #TribuneLoire #FCN pic.twitter.com/05aODWz2Bk

If this is indeed his last home match for the club, he sure made it a memorable one.
