WATCH: DeAndre Yedlin sent off vs. Paraguay after receiving two yellow cards in one minute

Sean Pokorny-USA TODAY Sports

In a dramatic turn of events in Philadelphia, the United States men's national team will have to play the final 40 minutes of the second half against Paraguay down a man. USMNT right back DeAndre Yedlin was sent off after being issued two yellow cards in a matter of a minute.

The 22-year-old was shown a yellow for a tackle just two minutes in the second half with his team leading 1-0. He was angry with the call and took it out in the very next sequence with another reckless tackle:

It was a moment of madness from the young American and it could cost his team big time, if not in this match then the next should they advance to the quarterfinals.

Yedlin will miss out on the next round should the U.S. make it that far. They'll have to at least tie Paraguay to make that happen.
