The United States men's national team are off to the Copa America Centenario semifinals after defeating Ecuador, 2-1 on Thursday night. It was scrappy, emotional, and nervous, but the job is done and the U.S. have made it to the final four of a major international competition.

Clint Dempsey and Gyasi Zardes scored for the U.S. while a couple of red cards completely changed the complexion of the match. After a late goal by Ecuador, the Americans parked the bus and held on for dear life to get the massive win.
