It's 10 vs. 10 in the Copa America Centenario quarterfinal. Jermaine Jones received a straight red card for making contact with an opponent's face, while Antonio Valencia received his second yellow for kicking out at Alejandro Bedoya.

It was a bizarre sequence as it appeared as if the U.S. would be going up a man as Valencia's second yellow was an obvious one. However, after the whistle had blew, Jermaine Jones was issued a red card for the aftermath.

Both players will now be suspended for a potential semifinal should either of their teams make it. It's a huge loss for both sides as each player is crucial to their team's plans. So far Klinsmann has yet to make any adjustments after the dismissals. The match is more open but the U.S. seem to be doing a good job of steadying themselves and keeping their composure.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Kyle Beckerman come on to add some defensive steel to the midfield.

This was the first red card of Jones' USMNT career.
