Another Yank in the Premier League

United States midfielder Emerson Hyndman is headed to the Premier League. AFC Bournemouth announced today that they've made the Texas native their first signing of the summer.

After six years within the Fulham ranks, the 20-year-old's contract at the London club has expired giving him the freedom to choose his next team. It appears as if he's decided on promoting himself back to the Premier League.

It was a tumultuous season for the youngster with Fulham angry with him for not accepting a new contract with the club. They took it out on him by keeping him in the reserves to begin the year. Eventually he won back a spot in the first-team and went on to have a good season that saw him score his first professional goal on his 20th birthday.

Bournemouth finished 16th in the English top flight last season and will be doing all the can to avoid relegation in the upcoming campaign.

This is a big move for Hyndman as it will shape his future as a pro and dictate if he is to reemerge on the USMNT scene. Hopefully it works out of him.
