USA vs. Ecuador, Copa America 2016: Final Player Ratings

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

The United States scored a huge victory over Ecuador in the Copa America Centenario quarterfinals on Thursday night. They have earned their ticket to the final four of a major international competition where they'll face the winner of Venezuela and Argentina on Tuesday night.

It was very much a tale of two halves for the U.S. as they dominated and looked extremely confident to begin the match. After a double red card incident with Antonio Valencia and Jermaine Jones receiving their walking orders, the match tilted in favor of the South Americans. The USMNT held on for dear life and got the win. You voted in our post-match player ratings and this is how it turned out:

Man of the Match: Clint Dempsey

A goal and assist for Clint Dempsey was enough to earn him top billing in the quarterfinal. Deuce has done nothing but prove the doubters (yes, that includes me) wrong and continue to raise the level of his play in the huge matches.

John Brooks and Bobby Wood were the two next highest vote-getters for their great individual performances.
