This continues to be a record-breaking tournament when it comes to viewership of the United States national team. After setting viewership records during the group stage, the USMNT set another high for broadcasts on FS1, this time eclipsing 2.1 million for their quarterfinal match against Ecuador. It’s the third consecutive game the USMNT has set a soccer viewership record for games broadcast on Fox Sports.
It’s not just English-language broadcasts that are bringing in big numbers, either. Even more people are watching on Univision, where the game drew 3.5 million viewers. Combine those numbers are the USMNT was watched by nearly 5.7 million people.
Univision says a combined 3.5M for USA-Ecuador on its networks (that’s a match-only number).

This tournament has been especially successful for Univision, who has reported that the Copa America Centenario group stage had a better average than their broadcast of the 2014 World Cup group stage. The group stage games drew an average of 2.6 million viewers on the Spanish-language network’s various channels.
Great as that sounds, it should be pointed out that more than 20 million people watched Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
