Alex Morgan's brace brings USWNT level with Japan

Alex Morgan has scored her second goal of the night in the United States women's national team's friendly against Japan. Just after the hour mark she has leveled the score at two with a header from inside the box.

Tobin Heath played a free kick into the box that found a streaking Morgan who headed/shouldered past the Japan goalkeeper for his brace. Critics will likely say that the header should've been saved, but you have to credit the attacker for getting the shot on frame.

It's the 66th goal of Morgan's USWNT career and while it likely won't make any highlight reels, it's good enough to pull the U.S. even with Japan after falling behind early 2-0.

Japan receiving a red card early in the second half has helped matters as the U.S. have completely dominated the play since going up a player as is to be expected. Can they push for one more and walk away with the win?
