USA vs. Colombia, Copa America 2016: Confirmed lineups and match thread

It. Is. On.

Steve Flynn-USA TODAY Sports

The United States and Colombia are finally ready to kick off the Copa America Centenario. Both teams have announced their lineups ahead of the opening match in Group A. Some will argue that these two are the favorites of the group and whoever wins will assuredly have a place in the knockout rounds.

Jurgen Klinsmann's starting XI looks to be about what we expected with a safe midfield of veterans and the strong back line of Yedlin-Cameron-Brooks-Johnson sticking together after a few successful friendlies. Look for Dempsey to drop into the midfield to hold the ball up for Zardes and Wood to run off of him.

Meanwhile, the two Colombian attacking stars James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado get the start while Carlos Bacca is their target man.

The match will kick off at 9:30 p.m. ET and will air live on Fox Sports 1, UniMas, and Univision Deportes. John Strong and Brad Friedel will be on the call for FS1.

United States Lineup: (4-3-3) Brad Guzan; DeAndre Yedlin, Geoff Cameron, John Brooks, Fabian Johnson; Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley, Alejandro Bedoya; Gyasi Zardes, Clint Dempsey, Bobby Wood

Colombia Lineup: (4-2-3-1) David Ospina; Santiago Arias, Christian Zapata, Jeison Murillo, Farid Diaz; Seabastian Perez, Daniel Torres; Juan Cuadrado, James Rodriguez, Edwin Cardona; Carlos Bacca
