The United States under-19 men's national team is playing in the 33rd International COTIF tournament from July 20th through the August 5th in Valencia, Spain.
Head coach Brad Friedel (never heard of him) named a 22-player roster for the tournament.
The U.S., competing in Group A, plays Venezuela (July 26th), Mauritania (July 28th), Spain (July 29th), and Bahrain (August 1st). The tournament semifinals are August 2nd and the final is August 4th.
The roster features seven players with MLS connections and four plying their trade abroad.
The U-19s previously won the Slovakia Cup in April.
