USA U-17s head to Utah for camp

Head coach John Hackworth called in 24 players to a United States under-17 national team camp that will run from August 14th through the 22nd in Park City, Utah. The roster features five players connected to the newly minted Atlanta United and one player (Timothy Weah of Paris Saint-Germain) plying his trade abroad.

The U-17s will play friendlies against NCAA Division I program Utah Valley University (August 16th) and Real Monarchs SLC of the USL (August 20th).

The camp precedes the 2016 Torneo Naciones de Mexico which will be held August 22nd through the 29th in Mexico City. The U-17s previously played in the AIFF Youth Cup in May, losing in the final to South Korea.
