Your typical transfer window nonsense

Christian Pulisic is not leaving Borussia Dortmund, so says his own father. Mark Pulisic told German news outlet, Bild, that his son has no intentions of leaving the club that developed him.

"Christian has no interest in leaving the club," Mark Pulisic said. "He had a good half year last season, and wants to continue to break through."

Dortmund have added a plethora of attacking talent this summer and Pulisic not making the matchday squad for the DFL-Supercup against Bayern Munich this past weekend heated up the rumor mill.

A vague report from Sport 1 on Tuesday claimed that Pulisic was angry about not making that squad and would try and force a move to improve his playing time. It appears as if that was just pure speculation on their part.

Pulisic spoke with the official Bundesliga website on Wednesday and said that he hopes to play as much as possible.

Respected German outlet, Kicker, reported today that Pulisic could’ve been a target for VfB Stuttgart, who are on the search for reinforcements, but further stated that the 17-year-old is “not an option.”

So, what does this all mean? Well, it means that there is much to-do about nothing. Pulisic will be saying with Dortmund as many expected all along and the rumors and innuendo were all for naught. Such is life in the transfer window. Is it September yet?
