Why didn't Sabbi join MLS? Was there interest?
@WillParchman MLS teams were interested in Sabbi but he had no desire to play in US

Best of luck to the newest Yank abroad as he attempts to climb the ladder in La Liga. There isn't a long and storied history of American players in Spain (Oguchi Onyewu played with Malaga, Jozy with Villarreal, and Kasey Keller with Rayo), but perhaps Sabbi and Mukwelle Akale can lead the charge.
