You what, now?

Transfer season is the most craziest time of the year. Nothing signifies that more than BILD reporting tonight that Stoke City of the Premier League have made a €20 million bid to Borussia Dortmund for United States international Christian Pulisic.

Without doing any research, it’s safe to say that that fee would make Pulisic the most valuable and expensive American player ever.

Young talent at the highest level is a hot commodity. We see crazy amounts of money exchange hands all the time for young players. Especially Premier League teams looking to spend TV money and such.

Apparently Pulisic has impressed Stoke City and Mark Hughes enough to make them think he can be a superstar player in the future.

Borussia Dortmund signed Pulisic out of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. This would be straight profit for them, should they accept.

Playing time prospects look bleak for the 17-year-old this season with the signings of four very good attacking players this summer by Dortmund.

Pulisic’s dad, Mark, came out in the press last week and claimed his son would not be leaving the club. However, 20 million euros can change a lot of minds.

What do you think of this news? Is he worth that much money? Should he make the move?
