According to The Telegraph, Liverpool have made an £11 million bid for U.S. international midfielder Christian Pulisic.

Ever since Pulisic was left out of the Borussia Dortmund squad for the German Super Cup, there have been rumors about a potential departure from Dortmund. Pulisic did make the gameday roster for Dortmund's DFB Pokal match against Eintracht Trier last week, however he didn't play a single minute.

Just a few days ago, Pulisic was reportedly the subject of a €20 million bid from Stoke City. The bid was never actually made according to Grant Wahl, but he did report that a 15 million euro bid from RB Leipzig could be coming. Despite both Pulisic and his father stating that he has no intent to leave Dortmund, speculation has persisted.

A move to Liverpool would make a lot of sense for Pulisic as it would reunite him with former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp. Pulisic never appeared for the first team under Klopp, but was an academy star during Klopp's tenure and was signed by the German.

While Klopp is undoubtedly a talented manager, it is unclear whether Pulisic would be able to break into the Liverpool starting XI. Liverpool already has experienced attacking midfielders and wingers in Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana, and Georginio Wijnaldum

It remains to be seen whether Pulisic will leave Borussia Dortmund, either on loan or permanently, however it is apparent that many clubs are interested in his services.
