Jozy Altidore may be one of the most in-form strikers in all of world soccer currently. That’s not even hyperbole. It seems like he can’t go a game without filling the net with at least one goal. Between club and country he has 10 goals in his last 11 games. This free kick against the New York Red Bulls may be the best of the bunch:
JOOOOOOOZY!! Altidore capitalizes on his free kick and tightens the game up, giving Toronto it's 2nd goal. 2-3 https://t.co/yV4aELURMb

We don’t see Jozy take free kicks often. But this isn’t the first time he’s scored an amazing dead ball goal. In 2013, against Bosnia & Herzegovina, he scored a hat trick that featured a very similar style of free kick. He certainly has that in his repertoire, but doesn’t get a chance to use it very often being on a club team with Sebastian Giovinco.
Perhaps we’ll get to see it a little more with the USMNT now that he’s pulled it off again. Imagine him scoring an amazing free kick like this against Mexico in the Hex. Oh, how sweet that would be.
