A big weekend ahead

MLS: Chicago Fire at Toronto FC John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a big weekend for USMNT players playing for their clubs. We have several head-to-head match-ups for Americans playing each other. The highest profile of them likely being Toronto FC playing Philadelphia Union. Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore look to continue their march up the Eastern conference table and officially clinch a playoff spot against Alejandro Bedoya.

Today Dortmund take on Freiburg. Will Christian Pulisic make his fourth straight start? In all likelihood he won’t. He was subbed off at halftime of the midweek match after looking a little tired from playing so many minutes in such a short span. Hopefully he makes the bench and sees some minutes off the bench.

Hamburg take on Bayern on Saturday morning. That match is on FS2. It should be interesting to see how Bobby Wood handles the star-studded defense of Bayern Munich.
