Borussia Dortmund clawed back from a 2-1 deficit to draw Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday. While the U.S. teenage sensation, Christian Pulisic, didn’t get to start the match, he came on as a sub and made a huge impact on the final result.
After coming on for Ousmane Dembele, Pulisic was a dangerous threat down the right flank for Dortmund. He even got a sort of assist (but not officially) on the game-tying goal in the 86th minute.
Wonderful work from Pulisic to set up Schurrle's unstoppable equalizer for Dortmund. #UCLonFOX https://t.co/JYkieVRcAS

He received possession on the right wing, beat two defenders with pace on the dribble and floated a dangerous cross into the box. The ball eventually found its way to Andre Schurrle who roofed it into the net with a fantastic finish.
While Pulisic likely won’t get an official assist on the play, there’s no denying he was a huge part in making that clutch goal happen.
Sometimes just have to stop a realize he’s still just 18 years old and he’s out there against Real Madrid making things happen in the the game’s most important moments. Unbelievable.
